East Brunswick Psychology
Brunswick East, Melbourne VIC | Hybrid (WFH + in-clinic) | $75,000–$95,000 FTE + super, pro rata for 0.6–1.0 FTE (commensurate with experience)
About the role
East Brunswick Psychology is looking for an early-career Psychologist — General Registration or Clinical Registrar (or Registrar Candidate) — to join our friendly, boutique practice in Brunswick East. This is a 0.6–1.0 FTE role, with the exact split negotiable to suit the right candidate. This role is expected to commence in 2027.
You'll be joining a small, supportive team where you're never just a number. We invest heavily in your development: regular supervision, a dedicated professional development budget, and a genuinely collegial environment where you can ask questions, workshop tricky cases, and grow your clinical confidence.
This role suits someone early in their career who wants strong mentorship and room to develop their own clinical style, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
What you'll be doing
Providing one-on-one therapy to clients across the lifespan
Conducting psychological assessments as appropriate to your scope and stage of training
Developing and delivering individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
Collaborating with the broader team and allied health network for holistic client care
Maintaining clinical records in line with professional and ethical standards
What we're looking for
General registration with AHPRA, or current enrolment (or eligibility to enrol) in a Clinical Registrar program
Early-career psychologists welcome — we're as interested in your potential as your experience
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Solid report-writing and record-keeping skills
A collaborative, curious approach and a commitment to ongoing learning
What we offer
0.6–1.0 FTE, with flexible scheduling
Hybrid working — a mix of in-clinic and work-from-home sessions
Regular, tailored supervision
Primary supervision for the Clinical Registrar program available to eligible candidates
$1,000–$1,500 annual professional development budget, plus 2 days paid CPD leave
$75,000–$95,000 FTE + super, pro rata for your FTE, commensurate with experience
Administrative and reception support, so you can focus on clinical work
A warm, boutique practice culture with close ties to a broader wellness community (GP clinic, dietitian, pharmacy, gym, and fellow psychologists)
